Mixed Years Grade B is the cheapest way into a Pro V1. A 100 pack also ships free on its own, and a single dozen doesn’t.

What each grade looks like

  • Mint: Like new. Little or no wear, with the original colour and sheen.
  • Grade A: Looks like a new ball after one to three holes. Light scuffs and slight discolouration.
  • Grade B: Looks like a new ball after nine holes. Moderate scuffs and discolouration that don’t affect play. Can include higher grade practice and X-Out models.

Every grade can carry player markings and team or corporate logos. The full criteria are on How We Grade.

Mixed Years or a single model year?

Mixed Years boxes combine Pro V1s from several past model years, so side stamps and logos vary from ball to ball. The 2024 and 2025 listings are one model year only. At Grade B, that choice is the difference between $17.99 and $26.99 a dozen. If you want every ball in the bag to match, buy a single year. If you want the lowest price on a Pro V1, buy Mixed Years.

Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

  • Pro V1: Mid flight and a softer feel. It suits players who want a penetrating trajectory.
  • Pro V1x: Higher flight, a firmer feel, and more spin with the irons. It suits faster swing speeds.
  • Pro V1x Left Dash: The firmest and lowest spinning of the three.

If you’re unsure, buy a Grade B dozen of each and play them side by side.

Common questions

  • Do scuffs affect how a used Pro V1 plays? Grades A and B are sorted on cosmetic wear: scuffs, discolouration and markings. Balls that are cut or out of round go to Hit Away, not to these grades.
  • Which grade should I buy? Buy Mint for a gift or when looks matter. Buy Grade A if you want to play a ball that looks nearly new. Buy Grade B for the lowest price per ball.
  • Is shipping free? Shipping is free across Canada on orders over $99.99. Every 100 pack and most 50 packs qualify on their own.
  • Are these new balls? No. Every ball here was recovered from a course, then cleaned and graded. Here is why buying used golf balls makes sense.
